The UAB Master of Science in Global Health (MS in Global Health) is uniquely offered jointly by both the UAB Heersink School of Medicine and the UAB School of Public Health. This program connects students with cutting-edge global health research and practice through the collaborations amongst the Sparkman Center for Global Health, the Mary Heersink Institute for Global Health, Global Health Consortium and international partners. UAB’s MS in Global Health has an emphasis on health equity and utilizes the distinct vantage point of Alabama’s history steeped in the U.S. Civil Rights Movement.
