About the Consortium for Global Health

Although globalization and health are inextricably related and Global Health transcends borders, globalization impacts people across the globe differently. Global Health requires collaborative action, but with an eye for variation and with respect for local realities and needs. In the consortium, faculties with various disciplinary backgrounds from low-, middle- and high-income settings work together, each from their own locally grounded perspective on global-local interactions. This form of collaboration constitutes a unique approach to address Global Health and will prepare students to navigate its complexities.
