A valuable multicultural research experience
My background in Medicine inspired a strong interest in learning more about improving health issues and systems. Therefore, I pursued a Master’s degree in Global Health in Public Health at Thammasat University (TU), Thailand, which enhanced my understanding of public health, research, and transdisciplinary approaches to addressing complex health challenges.
I am currently a PhD candidate at Maastricht University (MU) in the Netherlands, as a part of a shared supervision program between Thammasat University and Maastricht University. This academic collaboration has provided a valuable multicultural research experience, a rare opportunity to benefit from the expertise of supervisors, and access to resources, support, and networking opportunities from both universities. Exposure to diverse academic cultures has fostered a holistic research perspective and strengthened my critical thinking, ultimately enhancing my academic development and career prospects for working effectively in varied international academic and professional environments.
